On weekends, we try to go to good places and eat good food for a nice date. Of course, just being together is already a date, but when deciding where to go, we often struggle to find a place. We frequently visit Shinsegae Department Store in Daegu, but this time, we felt too lazy to go all the way there. So instead, we went to Hyundai Department Store, which is right next door.
Dining at 2046 Oriental Grill
While exploring the food court, we noticed 2046 Oriental Grill. The aroma of the food was amazing, and since we had never tried it before, we wanted to experience something new. Plus, we were in the mood for a rice dish, so this place seemed like the perfect choice.
At this restaurant, you can choose from Garlic Sauce, Teriyaki Sauce, Sesame Garlic Sauce, and Spicy Sauce. You select the sauce that best matches your dish.

The steak was cut into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to eat. The thickness was just right, and when I took a bite, the juicy meat and subtle beef aroma spread beautifully in my mouth.
✔ Grilled Tripe & Daechang (Beef Large Intestine)
Since they ran out of makchang, they substituted it with daechang, and honestly, it was amazing! The texture was rich, not greasy or smelly at all, and the chewiness combined with the flavor of the fat was absolutely delightful.
✔ Vegetable Combination
I always love eating meat with vegetables, and since the dish was stir-fried with vegetables, it was even more enjoyable.

✔ Pork Belly Rice Bowl
The dish came with grilled pork belly on top of rice, meant to be mixed before eating. It was good, but not exactly my style. However, if you enjoy pork belly rice bowls, you will likely find it quite satisfying.
