안녕하세요. 작년에 풍등축제 사진을 보고 “내년에는 꼭 가야지!”라고 생각했는데, 뒤늦게 행사 일정을 확인하고 일주일 전에 표를 알아보니 이미 몇 달 전부터 판매가 진행되었더라고요.
결국 티켓을 구하지 못해 행사장 안으로 들어가지는 못했지만, 그래도 현장에서 분위기를 느끼고 풍등을 감상할 수 있었습니다.

어쩔 수 없이 행사장 바깥쪽에서 구경하기로 결정했고, 입구 근처에서 안쪽 풍경을 바라보며 감상했습니다.

- 밝은 저녁이었음에도 불구하고, 하늘을 가득 채운 풍등이 라푼젤 실사판 같은 장관을 연출했습니다.
- 사진보다 실제로 보면 훨씬 더 아름다웠고, 순간을 놓치지 않으려고 연신 셔터를 누르는 소리가 들렸습니다.
행사 마무리 & 내년 계획
거의 모든 풍등이 날아간 후, 사람들이 한꺼번에 몰릴 것을 예상해 친구와 함께 서둘러 빠져나왔습니다.
그런데 바람이 강하게 불어 두류 야구장에서 날린 풍등들이 야외음악당(야당) 방향으로 흘러가면서, 마치 하늘에 별이 떠 있는 듯한 장면을 연출했어요! 정말 환상적인 광경이었습니다.

집으로 돌아가는 길에도 계속 하늘을 보며 감탄했습니다.
사실 풍등을 보기 전까지는 “내년에 또 올까 말까?” 고민했지만, 막상 풍등이 하늘을 수놓는 장면을 보니 “내년에는 꼭 예매해서 행사장 안에서 제대로 보고 싶다!”는 생각이 들었습니다.

Daegu Sky Lantern Festival (Gwanjeong Nori) Review
Last year, I saw beautiful photos of the Daegu Sky Lantern Festival and promised myself that I would go this year.
However, I found out about the event late, and when I checked for tickets a week before, they had already been sold out months in advance.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get inside the venue, but I still got to experience the atmosphere and enjoy the lanterns from outside.
Failed Ticket Hunt & Alternative Plan
I searched everywhere for tickets, including used ticket platforms, secondhand marketplaces, and online forums, but the reasonably priced ones were already sold out.
Even the overpriced tickets were gone by the time I arrived at Duryu Park, making it impossible to buy one.
In the end, I decided to watch from outside the festival grounds, standing near the entrance to catch a glimpse of the magical moment.

Leaving the Festival & Looking Forward to Next Year
As most of the lanterns floated away, my friend and I quickly left to avoid the crowd.
The strong wind carried the lanterns toward the Duryu Outdoor Music Hall, creating a starry night illusion in the sky—it was simply magical!

Even on the way home, I kept looking up, mesmerized by the view.
