안녕하세요. 오늘 정동뚝배기 다녀온 글을 적어보겠습니다. 오랜만에 동대구역에 볼일이 있어 KTX를 급하게 예매하고 도착했는데, 마침 출출한 배를 달래줄 곳을 찾다가 우연히 발견한 ‘정동 뚝배기’에 발걸음을 옮겼어요.
처음엔 간단히 밥을 먹으려고 생각했는데, 메뉴판 옆에 붙은 ‘정동라면’ 포스터가 눈에 확 들어오는 바람에 계획 변경! 매운맛과 순한맛 하나씩, 그리고 라면만으론 부족할까 봐 물만두까지 함께 주문했어요.
드디어 등장한 정동라면, 가격은 단돈 4,000원! 보기만 해도 식욕이 샘솟았는데, 실제로 맛보니 기대 이상이었습니다. 콩나물이 듬뿍 들어가서인지 국물이 일반 라면과 다르게 시원하고 개운한 콩나물 해장국 느낌이 강하게 나더라고요.
특히 매운맛 정동라면에는 별도의 매콤한 소스가 함께 제공되는데, 취향에 맞게 조절할 수 있어 좋았습니다. 순한맛 라면은 매운 소스가 따로 없어서 깔끔한 맛을 그대로 즐길 수 있었어요. 면발은 또 얼마나 쫄깃한지! 게다가 떡국 떡까지 들어있어서 든든하게 배를 채울 수 있었답니다. 평소 콩나물을 좋아하는 저에겐 특히나 만족스러웠어요.
물만두는 4,500원으로 다소 가격이 있는 편이었지만, 맛은 그냥 평범한 수준이었어요. 나쁘진 않았지만, 특별히 기억에 남을 만한 맛은 아니었네요.
그래도 역시 오늘의 주인공은 정동라면! 담백하고 칼칼한 국물에 쫄깃한 면발의 조화가 정말 환상적이라 계속 생각나더라고요. 앞으로 동대구역 갈 때마다 정동 뚝배기의 라면이 생각날 것 같아요. 이렇게 글을 쓰고 있는 지금 이 순간에도 그 맛이 떠올라 입에 침이 고이네요. 꼭 다시 방문해야겠습니다!

After a long time, I found myself at Dongdaegu Station, quickly booking a KTX for some urgent errands. Arriving hungry, I stumbled upon a place called ‘Jungdong Ttukbaegi’.
Initially, I planned to have a simple rice dish, but a tempting poster advertising ‘Jungdong Ramen’ caught my eye, changing my plans instantly. I ended up ordering both spicy and mild ramen, along with some boiled dumplings because I felt ramen alone might not suffice.
The much-anticipated Jungdong Ramen arrived, priced at just 4,000 won! It looked incredibly appetizing, and the taste exceeded my expectations. Thanks to the generous amount of bean sprouts, the broth had a refreshing and clear taste, reminiscent of Korean bean sprout hangover soup.
The spicy ramen included an additional spicy sauce served separately, which allowed for customization of the heat level. The mild ramen came without the spicy sauce, offering a clean and delicate taste. The noodles were wonderfully chewy, complemented by slices of chewy rice cakes. Being a huge fan of bean sprouts, I was delighted by their abundance.
The boiled dumplings, priced at 4,500 won, were decent but nothing special. They tasted fine but weren’t particularly memorable.
Still, the star of the day was unquestionably the Jungdong Ramen! Its combination of savory, spicy broth and perfectly chewy noodles left an unforgettable impression. I’m sure I’ll think about it every time I visit Dongdaegu Station. Even as I write this review, my mouth waters at the mere memory of that delightful taste. Definitely planning to revisit soon!
