안녕하세요 ^.^ 오늘은 대구 동성로에서 발견한 멋진 술집, 도쿄시장을 소개해 드리려고 합니다!
사실 저는 겉모습과 달리 술을 자주 즐기는 편은 아닌데, 오랜만에 동성로의 예쁜 술집을 찾아다니게 되었어요. 동성로 클럽 골목 입구 쪽을 지나가다가 우연히 보게 된 도쿄시장! 처음에는 ‘오, 괜찮다~’ 하고 지나쳤다가, 열 걸음쯤 가다가 다시 돌아서 도쿄시장에 들어가게 되었답니다. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
도쿄시장은 깔끔한 인테리어로, 밖에서 내부가 훤히 보이는 구조였어요. 밖에서 봤을 때도 예쁜 분위기의 술집이라 들어가고 싶게 만들어져 있었죠. 제가 방문한 날은 평일 목요일이었는데도 불구하고, 도쿄시장에는 사람들이 많아서 더욱 궁금해졌습니다.
입구에는 바 형태의 좌석과 테이블들이 있었고, 안쪽으로도 테이블이 더 있어서 밖에서 보는 것보다 내부가 훨씬 넓었어요. 주문 방법은 직원분이 메뉴판을 가져다주시면, 테이블에 있는 귀여운 메모장에 주문할 메뉴를 적어서 직원분에게 전달하면 되는 방식이었습니다.
제가 도쿄시장에서 주문한 메뉴는 연어초밥 8피스와 새우튀김이었어요. 도쿄시장에서는 사진을 찍어 인스타그램에 해시태그하여 올리면 음료를 주는 이벤트도 진행 중이더라고요.
음식을 기다리며 큼직하고 푸짐한 메뉴를 기대했지만, 생각보다 아기자기하게 나와서 살짝 놀랐어요. 하지만 맛은 있어서 만족스러웠습니다. 새우튀김은 약간 짭짤한 느낌이 있었지만, 간장을 많이 찍은 제 탓도 있는 것 같아 패스! 함께 주문한 연어초밥은 맛있었어요. 사실 연어는 거의 어디서나 실패가 없는 듯합니다.
도쿄시장에 앉아 있으니 커플들도 많아서 데이트 장소로도 좋을 것 같고, 저처럼 지인들과 와서 즐기는 분들도 많았어요. 사람은 많았지만 시끄러운 분위기는 아니어서 적당한 소음 속에서 즐기기 좋은 예쁜 술집이라는 생각이 들었습니다. ^.^

Hello ^.^ Today, I’d like to introduce a charming bar I discovered in Dongseong-ro, Daegu: Tokyo Market!
Although I don’t often indulge in alcohol, I decided to explore some of the beautiful bars in Dongseong-ro after a long time. While passing by the entrance of the club alley in Dongseong-ro, I stumbled upon Tokyo Market! Initially, I thought, ‘Oh, this looks nice~’ and walked past it, but after about ten steps, I turned back and decided to enter Tokyo Market. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
Tokyo Market boasts a neat interior design, with a structure that allows a clear view of the inside from the outside. Even from the outside, it exuded such a lovely ambiance that it enticed passersby to come in. Despite visiting on a weekday Thursday, the place was bustling with people, which piqued my curiosity even more.
At the entrance, there were bar-style seats and tables, with additional tables further inside, making the interior more spacious than it appeared from the outside. To place an order, the staff would bring the menu, and you would write your desired items on a cute notepad provided at the table and hand it back to them.
I ordered the 8-piece salmon sushi and shrimp tempura. Tokyo Market also had an event where if you took a photo and posted it on Instagram with a hashtag, you’d receive a complimentary drink.
While waiting for the food, I anticipated generous portions but was slightly surprised by the more delicate servings. Nevertheless, the taste was satisfying. The shrimp tempura felt a tad salty, but that might have been due to my generous dipping in soy sauce, so no complaints there! The salmon sushi was delightful; in my experience, salmon rarely disappoints.
As I sat in Tokyo Market, I noticed many couples, making it an excellent spot for dates. There were also groups of friends like us enjoying their time. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere wasn’t overly noisy, striking a perfect balance for an enjoyable evening. ^.^
