처음 문화의전당에 도착했을 때, “여기에 더카페가 있다고?”라는 소란스런 분위기 속에서도 3층에 자리 잡은 그 카페를 발견하자 배고픔이 더욱 배로 다가왔어요. 엘리베이터를 타고 3층으로 내려서자마자 펼쳐진 풍경은 말 그대로 눈부셨습니다.
비가 오는 날이어서 야외에서는 식사가 어려워 결국 내부에서 식사를 즐기게 되었는데요, 실내 분위기는 아늑하면서도 세련된 느낌이 가득해 마음까지 따뜻해지는 기분이었어요. 메뉴판을 보니 1~2인분 정도의 세팅이라, 스테이크, 필라프, 파스타, 샐러드 등 다양한 메뉴에 눈이 휘둥그레졌지만, 결국 성인 3명이서 2가지 메뉴만 주문하기로 결정할 수밖에 없었답니다. 정말 신중한 선택의 시간이었어요.
저희가 주문한 메뉴는 불고기 필라프와 땡초 크림스파게티였는데요, 우선 빵을 스프에 찍어 먹는 기본 세팅이 일품이었고, 불고기 필라프는 고소하면서도 풍미가 가득해 만족스러웠어요. 그리고 땡초 크림스파게티는 처음에는 별로일 것 같다는 생각이 들었지만 한 입 먹자마자 그 뜨끈한 온기와 땡초의 알싸한 매력이 느껴지면서, 예상 외로 깊은 인상을 주었답니다. 후식으로 커피나 탄산음료를 선택할 수 있는데, 저희는 음식과 함께 미리 주문해 두어 천 원만 추가로 음료를 바꿀 수 있었어요. 일부 음료는 2,500원 추가 비용이 들더라고요.
방문 당시에는 직원분들이 식사 시간이라 내부가 약간 분주해 보였지만, 친절한 서비스 덕분에 전반적인 분위기는 긍정적이었어요. 특히 야외에서 즐기는 식사가 최고일 것 같은 느낌이 들었지만, 애기를 동반한 가족 단위 손님들도 많아 1층에서 뛰어노는 아이들을 보니 이곳의 여유로움이 고스란히 전해졌습니다.

Hey there ^.^ It felt so good to be back in my hometown, Ulsan, after such a long time. This time, I headed out with some friends—now moms—who were looking for a new spot to hang out, and we got a tip about “The Cafe” located on the 3rd floor of the Ulsan Culture Center in Jung-gu.
When we first arrived at the Culture Center, there was a bit of a buzz—everyone was saying, “Is The Cafe really here?” But sure enough, we found it on the 3rd floor, and my hunger immediately kicked in! As soon as we rode the elevator up and stepped out onto that floor, the view that greeted us was absolutely amazing.
Since it was raining that day, we couldn’t dine outdoors. Although the rain stopped later, I decided to stay inside with my little one, which turned out to be a cozy and pleasant choice. The indoor atmosphere was both stylish and warm, making me feel right at home.
The menu caught my eye too—each dish comes in a serving size for one to two people, so I found myself daydreaming about trying everything from steak and pilaf to pasta and salad. In the end, since there were three of us, we settled on just two dishes after much deliberation!
We ended up ordering the Bulgogi Pilaf and the Spicy Pepper Cream Spaghetti. The basic setup included some fresh bread served with soup—a definite win. The Bulgogi Pilaf was rich and savory, while the Spicy Pepper Cream Spaghetti, which I initially thought might be a hit or miss, turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It was served hot, with just the right balance of creaminess and that spicy kick from the peppers, truly exceeding my expectations.
As for drinks, while desserts typically come with coffee or soda, we pre-ordered our beverages along with our meal. With just an extra dollar, we were even able to swap one of the drinks, though some options require an additional $2.50.
When I visited, the place was a bit hectic—probably because it was around mealtime for the staff—but their service was really friendly and upbeat. I got the sense that dining outdoors might be even better, yet I loved seeing so many kids playing on the first floor after their meal. Their laughter and energy truly reflected the relaxed vibe of the place.
